Partnering Anxiety Podcast

Suddenly becoming the supporter of an anxiety & panic attack disorder sufferer is a shock.

Whether you know and understand the condition and what it means for the sufferer or not, being alongside that person and seeing the mental and physical changes they go through is very difficult.

An anxiety disorder for the sufferer is life-changing, but it also has a huge impact on those around them. Spouses, partners, parents, siblings, friends and colleagues will notice the changes in the person; their demeanour, mood, personality, physical changes and emotions. It puts strain on and changes the dynamics of relationships.

I have been the wife of an anxiety and panic disorder sufferer since May 2022. In 24 hours, everything changed for my husband, our relationship, our life together and me.
Partnering Anxiety is a podcast and individual support programme for those of you who have someone in your life who is suffering from an anxiety and panic disorder.
I’m not aiming to help the sufferer. I’m not here to advise on how you should support the sufferer. I want to support the supporter.

My aim is to offer help, advice and pass on what worked for me by telling my honest story of the last four-years and how I managed and coped with the challenging situation I found myself in. This is a story of your own well-being and self-care. Of looking after yourself, so you have the energy and mindset to show up for your loved one.
